The day is also jam-packed full of tips and knowledge on current trends, suppliers, and so much more. But this isn’t the best part of the event – no; my favourite part is that I get to give away thousands of dollars’ worth of gifts to a few lucky brides… including A GOWN!

It’s Melbourne’s version of The Oprah Show – but for weddings!

Weddings can be absolutely daunting to organise, and I wanted to create a space where brides can come together to have an amazing pre-wedding day out, and listen to a fabulous panel of celebrity guest speakers who have all been there, done that.

It’s like a real-life glimpse into organising a wedding – from what to expect leading up to it through to what may happen on the day of the event. It really is the best foundation to begin your wedding journey.

We loved our day at the Road to Mrs event, ran by ST. Five girls and two brides to be, we were full of excitement for our day out together. Obviously we were so hoping to win one of ST’s incredible gowns!

Although this didn’t happen, we found an incredible musician who was chosen to play at my girlfriends wedding (we danced the night away) and made the final decision that ST was the perfect designer to design and make my sister’s wedding dress!

The buzz was real within the room, especially getting to rub shoulders with the gorgeous Rebecca Madden and Sophie Cachia. Listening to their stories was interesting and engaging.

The food service was amazing, but you cannot not mention the grazing table. The grazing table of all grazing tables … the inspiration for both my sister and girlfriend’s weddings! The event was lots of fun for all of us (even though a few of us were already married), we received many ideas that we then went on to use. A fabulously ran event, lots of fun and lots of value. The Road to Mrs is the perfect event for any women about to get married or who is just looking for a fun day out with some inspiring women.
The day was filled with laughter, delicious food, amazing speakers and heaps of giveaways.

I took my Bridesmaids with me and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we laughed, cried and ate to our hearts content.

It was amazing to hear other inspirational women’s journeys, not only in regard to their wedding but also just being a woman in today’s world.

If you’re not too sure what you are looking for in your wedding dress, venue, music, food and even invites – this is the event for you and Silvana is the women you need to have in your life.

You won’t meet a kinder, more talented women and this day is just a small glimpse into what she can offer you not only in making the perfect gown but also just in how to learn to love yourself and feel comfortable in your own skin.
